This movie is a sequel to the spanish horror film REC. The original was amazing unlike the American remake known as quarantine. Which was pretty terrible in comparison. I saw the original REC first and was embarrassed after taking friends to see the remake. It tried to make up for the lack of special effects with a horribly nauseating shaky camera, and the final monster was even super lame in comparison to the original. So im glad that America decided to release the original sequel instead of trying ruin, oops I mean remake it. Rec 2 has been out for a while in other countries and can be aquired online, thru amazon for example. It is definitely worth a watch, it explained more of the story than the first film. It is due to be release on july 9th in select theaters in the states and is in spanish. I would give it a solid 8 stars out of 10.
